Dresners scattered around the world
Hey--My turn to post. In May I got to go to Kyoto, Japan for my work conference (the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, ISMRM, www.ismrm.org) I flew into Tokyo and took the Bullet Train (Shinkansen) down to Kyoto. It was great fun to go back to Japan--I hadn't been there in almost 20 years, since we (Marcia, Norm, Jon and Mike) lived there 1984-1985. I've only scanned in a few pictures from the three rolls of film I took on this trip...I know, three rolls is nothing--we used to take that on a one-day outing when we lived there. Kyoto has tons to see, and I could've spent the entire conference week sightseeing; the fact that I'd visited the city before helped me concentrate on work-relevant activities.
